Mu-Mu, as The Audio Doctors, has recently invested in state of the art audio analysis software capable of audio enhancement, and restoration. The services provided range from hum and ambient noise reduction (enabling enhanced intelligibility of speech or music), to click removal and de-clipping to remove unwanted distortion. Advanced techniques such as spectral repair can also replace areas of complete drop out enabling sections of audio to be completely repaired. Lessening the effects of room acoustics via de-reverbing, can also be offered. These services can prove to be invaluable to people wishing to extract important data from what appears to be, on first listening, a virtually unusable piece of audio. Popular applications could include the removal of intrusive external and background noise from interview recording, such as for film and radio.
